We set up Heart of Gloucestershire to provide a new private patient service in the region. By working together and combining our wide cardiological expertise we can offer the complete range of diagnostics and treatments for your private patients.

Having the ability to consult at 3 hospitals and with clinics running throughout the week, we can see your patients at a time and place that is convenient for them. We are very happy to review urgent referrals, with appointments usually organised within 24 hours.

Appointments can be directed to a specific clinician or hospital if you wish or they can be referred generically where they will be seen by the most appropriate clinician at the most appropriate clinic.

To access our ECG Reporting service, simply use our data upload service here , or email them to our secure mailbox charts@gloucestershirecardiology.com or fax over your ECGs to 01242 246 501 (Cheltenham). We aim to respond to all requests within 24 hours.

Prevention and early diagnosis are key to avoiding cardiovascular disease. Our cardiologists offer basic and executive health screens however we also tailor our service to your patient’s circumstances.

Cardiovascular Health Screening services for your patients include consultations with Dr Lindsay, Dr Saha or Dr Scott and discussion on which tests are important in their particular case. We believe in a patient centred approach and therefore only advice tests which are of value to your patient, including assessment of body mass index (BMI), Electrocardiogram (ECG), Echocardiogram and Exercise ECG.

We offer a free, comprehensive educational programme for GPs including morning and evening seminars along with our symposia series through Spire, Nuffield and Ramsey Healthcare.

To attend any of the educational meetings either give us a call or send us an email and we will advice on the upcoming events and seminars we will be attending. We also offer GPs free talks in their practices at lunchtimes. For more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
